3. How long does it take to get completely set up?
Your account will be active on the same day you sign up for service. Credit card payments are authorized in real time, so we offer a same day set-up. After your registration is complete and your account has been processed, you will receive your welcome e-mail. The e-mail will give you all the information you need for setting up your site, your IP Address, FTP information, and other important hosting details that you may need.

9. What is a Virtual Domain?
A Virtual Domain means having your own domain name (http://www.yourname.com) without having to install expensive server hardware and software. With a Virtual Domain, you utilize our server's storage space, however you are still professionally represented via your own personal Internet web address domain name (www .your.com) and by your own personal e-mail address domain name (you @your.com)

10. Who is the InterNIC?
The InterNIC is an independent organization responsible for holding the registration and routing of Internet domain names. Don't worry about the Internic charging you for Domains after you have registered them with us, as unlike other registrars there are no extra Internic fees associated with our Domain name registration service - What you see is what you pay!

11. Can I access my domain address with or without the "www"?
Yes, you will be able to access the domain address with or without the "www" in front of the domain name. Example: [http://www.your-name.com] or [http://your-name.com] is acceptable, whichever you prefer.

12. Do you offer dial-up Internet access?
No, you will need local Internet access in order to maintain your web site and retrieve email addressed to your site. You will need to contact an Internet Service Provider (ISP) such as http://www.stargate.net.

13. Do you handle the domain registration process for .com, .net and .org domains?

14. Can I transfer existing domain names to your servers?
Yes, all that is required is for you to sign up for our hosting and change the name servers for your domain, with your current registrar. 

You should keep the service with your current provider while waiting for the changes to take effect. All email and web pages will still be accessed from your current site. When you receive confirmation, telling your account has been opened, you must update the name servers for your domain at your registrar. After you have completed that, there is a 24-72 hour propagation period where visitors could go to either site. At the end of the 72 hours, when your domain has resolved to our server, you should contact your previous host to have them delete the old domain from their records and update their DNS record.

Files must be transferred to the web server via File Transport Protocol (FTP), SSH or through your control panel. If you need further assistance, please see our support pages   (FrontPage™ extensions must be applied to your account first, if you use this software)

You have unlimited access via FTP 24-hours a day. As such, you can create and maintain your web pages on your own computer and upload files to your web site at your leisure.

New accounts are set up within 24 Hours from the time that we receive your order and payment has been confirmed.
